Meet in the Klohck Room
Kids Church is for 1st - 5th graders. It is a time for the children at FUMCV to get to know one another, to play games, read scripture, watch videos that help explain the Bible in a cool way, listen to music, and as always, enjoy snacks!
Kids will start off in the sanctuary with their families for announcements, worship, & singing and then they will leave with our Kids Church leader, Taylor Philippi and a Kids Church volunteer to the Klohck Room.

Meet in the Childcare Center
Childcare for ages 0-5 now available on Sundays during service! Our Childcare center is directed by Allison Moser. Originally from Guilderland, NY, she will be graduating from the College of Saint Rose this spring with her bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Special Education. Allison is passionate about helping and advocating for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.
Our Commitment to Safety
The safety of our children is very important to us. All volunteers and staff who work with children complete Safe Sanctuaries training in accordance with United Methodist Church guidelines. This training includes instruction on safe practices and appropriate boundaries when working with children, along with background checks and renewal training every five years.
