What to Expect

We know visiting a new church can be a bit intimidating, so we want to make your first visit as comfortable as possible. Here is a quick look at what Sunday mornings look like at FUMCV:

• Atmosphere: Our services are a blend of tradition and warmth. You’ll find people in everything from "Sunday best" to casual jeans. Come as you are!

• Children & Families: Families are a vital part of our community.

  • Childcare: Available for infants and toddlers (ages 0-5) in our Childcare Center. Learn more here.

  • Kids Church: Designed for 1st – 5th graders, children start in the sanctuary with their families and then move to the Klohck Room for games, scripture, and snacks. Learn more here.

  • In the Sanctuary: Children of all ages are always welcome to stay with their parents during the service.

• The Service: Our worship typically lasts about an hour and includes music, prayer, and a message rooted in grace and love.

• Coffee Hour (11:00 AM): The fellowship doesn't end when the service does! Stick around immediately following worship for our Coffee Hour. It’s a great time to grab a snack, a cup of coffee, and get to know your neighbors.
